Who we are

The Reverend Canon Frank Hetherington has been Rector of Holy Trinity Orange since1999. Ordained as a deacon in 1974 and priest in 1975, he has served his entire ordained ministry in the Diocese of Bathurst with appointments in the Cathedral parish, Blayney, Coonamble, Narromine and Parkes. Father Frank trained for the priesthood at St Johns College, Morpeth where he gained the Th.L. He also holds a Grad Dip in Pastoral Counselling and a Master of Ministry from Charles Sturt University. Father Frank has served in the wider life of the Diocese as an Archdeacon, Regional Ministry Co-ordinator and is presently an Honorary Canon of the Cathedral. He is married to Marilyn and together they have three adult children and three grandchildren. In his spare time Father Frank enjoys playing golf and gardening.
